Becoming a college student it is generally hard for most of them to make a balance in between their studies and do the job. Most of the student fight to manage the balance and it is always difficult to perform similarly well in both the issues. Sam Congdon chose to begin working while he is was a student, due to this cause from his beginning life he learned to manage both his studies and work at the similar time. He had to offer with his schoolwork as well as his administration job at Student Work painting. Generally the actual work of painting was done for the duration of summer but the duty of Sam Congdon was much more than that, he had to do the marketing and also had to hire his staff members. He had to make sure that almost everything was under control and in order for the summer painting. He also has the activity of proving to his other students that he could do it.

Becoming the manager at Student work painting his responsibility was to make sure that the painting teams were properly trained and they know how to complete their jobs on time. The manager had to take the complete responsibility of verifying and investing time during the day traveling from one crew to another to make sure that every person is on the task, almost everything is within budget and painting supplies are within budget. And the job did not end there, at night he had the job of planning for the homeowners in need of paint jobs and calling back customers with pending contracts. The job had to begin very early in the morning and end late at night and Sam was successful enough with his management skill.
The job at the 1st summer season was grueling for Sam Congdon as he also had created a journey to commute to Battle Creek from Hillsdale that utilized to take one hour one way. On that specific summer Sam sometimes experienced like giving up, but he managed nicely, although not all times were the same. Sometimes went well while other went bad. However it assisted him a lot to study management skill which is a useful lesson that he utilizes to this time. He learnt how to run an enterprise properly, how to manage everything, how to sell and how to communicate with different types of individuals. His job trained him how to be responsible and to manage individuals. On the top of anything, he was ready to make more money than any of his other friends in the college did. The hard of his student life trained him how to become a full time business owner and how to run a enterprise successfully. His working experience increased him and his working personality; they are so useful to him that if given a possibility he would not change it.

Those years were much easier for him as he has obtained experienced over the past several years and also simply because he lived I the same city that he was doing work. This preserved his time from traveling for two hours daily.
